The digestive fluids in our dog’s and cat’s system destroy most orally ingested enzymes prior to them being absorbed. Bromelain however is a proteolytic enzyme, i.e. it has the ability to break down proteins.

We always recommend starting slowly with any new supplement and gradually increase the amount given. This allows your cat to get used to the new ingredients, both the taste and texture, and helps to minimize the risk of any potential stomach upset.
The recommended maintenance dosage is shown on the back of the label. If you are using maxxidigest+ to treat a specific health condition, then you may want to increase the dosage while getting the condition under control.
The recommended saturation dosage is double the maintenance amount. You can reduce the dosage to maintenance dosage once the condition has improved. This is one of the many benefits of powder formulation. It is easy to adjust the dosage in line with your cats need over time.
The easiest way to administer maxxidigest+ is to mix it in with your cat’s food. maxxidigest+ does not contain any artificial flavours, colours, preservatives or binders. It has a natural flavour and the vast majority of cats happily eat their food when maxxidigest+ has been added to it.
